How many Weddings do you Photograph per year?
I love my job as a mom and I love my job as a photographer. It is equally important for me to be the best that I can be at both. Therefore, I only accept a limited number of weddings each year. This ensures I can give the deserved attention to my clients without feeling divided. I usually book on a first-come-first-serve basis and our calendar fills up quickly! So shoot us an e-mail and we’ll check availability for your date!
How long after the wedding until I see my pictures?
I make every effort to have your pictures available within 2-3 weeks after the wedding. Usually, I’m just as anxious to get them done as you are to see them! I promise to let you know the moment they are ready!
How does your proofing system work?
I do all my proofing online. Just click the “Celebrate YOU” link on the home page. You will be redirected to a third party website where you will be prompted to enter an Event ID. I e-mail you your Event ID once I have posted all the pictures to the online gallery. On the gallery you can order pictures, save pictures as favorites and share it with friends and family, too!
How many pictures do you take?
There are a lot of factors that go into how many pictures we take at a wedding. For a 7 hour wedding, we average between 400 and 600 pictures for the final cut. We do not release images that did not make the final cut, but we promise not to throw out any pictures that you’d miss!
Do you travel?
Our travel availablity is limited – just shoot us an email if your event is outside our local area and we will see what we can do!
Do you offer custom packages?
We consider our pacakges “starting points” – all of them can be modified to suit your needs, and, therefore, become custom! If the packages don’t suit what you’re looking for, just let us know what it is you want and we’ll see what we can work out!
What if I don’t need or want the e-shoot, can I get credit for it in my package?
The e-shoots are complimentary, so unfortunately no credit can be issued for them. However, if you don’t want engagement pictures, you’re more than welcome to substitute it for another photo shoot, such as a Celebrate the Dress photo shoot, day after photo shoot, etc.
What should I expect on the wedding day?
Lots of sunshine and everything to go perfectly
In all seriousness, a solid photography time line is key. We understand its important to get to your reception as soon as possible after the ceremony. To ensure this, we must work together and communicate about what is important to you to make sure the appropriate amount of time is alloted to create all the pictures you envision for your day! So talk to us, this will be one of the most important things you do!
What do I need to do to book you?
Simply contact us, e-mail is usually the most efficient way, and we’ll check your date against our availability! To hold your date, we simply require a $200 retainer with the signing of a contract. If you want to come in for a meeting, we welcome the opportunity to discuss the details of your day!
Can I purchase the copyrights to my photos?
Yes you can! They can be purchased with your wedding package, added to an existing package, or purchased independently at any time.
Will you meet with me at the venue before the wedding day?
Meeting at the venue before the wedding day to scope out photo locations, etc. is usually not necessary as there is really no way to predict what the weather or exact lighting conditions will be on the day of the wedding, let alone the decorations! All of which are factors that go into the location(s) we choose for pictures. We are experts at being able to assess photo op locations upon arrival. If we are unfamiliar with a particular venue, we take it upon ourselves to show up early and become acquainted with the property.
