In just four short weeks these little guys will be here – I can’t wait! Love you guys!

Elena is (a) a radio personality for a station in Alabama (b) a bleed-organge-and-blue Auburn fan and (c) a stunning bride. I’ve been waiting months to post pictures from her bridal session in Auburn, and since she tied the knot yesterday, I finally can! Wedding pictures will be coming soon…

Right now my daughter is at a Father – Daughter Dance with my husband. She is beautiful, and she felt beautiful tonight. I saw it in her eyes. She met  Bryan at the door when he came home from work. She was dressed up. Her hair was curled. She had a peacock feather in her hair. Her eyelids had turquoise sparkles on them to match her turquoise dress. She curtsied and said, “hello, Daddy” and then, like every little girl wants from her daddy, she asked for adoration, “do I look beautiful?” Bryan looked her over, knelt down, smiled and said, “yes, you look beautiful.” Her face lit up and they hugged. It was one of the happiest moments of my motherhood…to see my daughter radiate because she felt beautiful as she basked in the adoration of her daddy tonight.

So I want to Celebrate RIGHT NOW…and wishing that I could be there to photograph their dance…the father-daughter dance I am privledged to capture at so many weddings is happening right now between my husband and daughter. I am picturing it in my head and beyond warmed at knowing that my daughter knows she is beautiful and loved beyond measure.
